Dear Aspirants,
Welcome to the Institute of Media Management Technology and Agro Sciences, Dehradun, a pioneering institute imparting education at Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels in various fields of Business Management, Commerce, Mass Communication, Social Work, Computer Science, Hospitality Management and Agro Sciences. We are now 32 years old ( after having been established in 1989) and I am proud to say that alumni have excelled in their chosen professions after completing their chosen courses with us. We assure you that one day you too will join their ranks and shall feel proud to be known as our alumni.
The institute is affiliated for various Under Graduate and Post Graduate degree courses to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand ( A Central University under the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi) and Sri Dev Suman University, Badshahi Thaul, Tehri Garhwal (A State University). The Institute is recognized by U.G.C., A.I.U. and Govt. of Uttarakhand.
Our motto is to impart the best professional education with a goal to train students in the field of Finance, Human Resource, Service Industry Managers, communicators, social work professionals, Computer scientists and Agro Scientists who will understand the complexities of managing human as well as technological resources.
The highly qualified and permanent faculty at IMMT & Agro Sciences is dedicated and committed to the cause of excellence in teaching and research. The students are challenged to explore the underlying implication of what they learn, rather than be satisfied with knowing only how to apply a technical tool to a narrow problem only.
A sincere desire and enthusiasm for learning an appreciation to the intrinsic value of learning are important inputs from the student. Curiosity, persistence and willingness to work hard are other assets, which are expected from the individual in a full and vigorous academic programme preparing them for nation’s rapidly changing social, technological and business environment.
At IMMT & Agro Sciences the student centric curriculum, implemented and monitored under the guidance of experienced faculty, aims as overall development of the students along with the development of professional skills. The faculty constantly encourages the use of print and audio-visual medium to upgrade the prospective young managers, communicators and professionals in their chosen fields of specialization, along with academics, the emphasis on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities help students to develop a good blend of professional and social life.
